A Message From the Owner of Eagle Tower

Dear Tenants and Fellow Entrepreneurs,

I wanted to take a moment and write to you following the most recent announcement (22 September) from the government, in regards to Covid-19 related restrictions and recommendations. 

As you may know, their advice has taken a sharp U-turn, and recommended a return to work from home when possible, in contrast to the message in August which encouraged a return to the office. 

We know for many of you that returning to the office is an important, and constructive step in the health of your business. The office environment can provide the much needed morale, motivation and effectiveness needed to prosper in these uncertain times. 

We want to assure you of the efforts we have made, as owners of Eagle Tower, to create a safe and secure work environment. 

• We have installed 4 temperature detection cameras, one on every entrance,
• A one-way system has been introduced to facilitate social distancing when entering and exiting the building. 
• Sanitisers are located throughout the building and measures have been taken to encourage social distancing in WC’s. 
• We continue to insist on masks/face coverings in all communal parts of the building and encourage mask-wearing within office environments. 

At the end of November, we are replacing the revolving entrance door to a sensor driven motorised door which will make access to the building completely contactless, this is at a cost of over £40,000.

Additionally, it is important to note that in towns such as Cheltenham workers do not have to travel on overcrowded underground/overground rail networks or on overcrowded commuter busses.

As we continue to assess our environment in these changing times, we would welcome any feedback you may have which would improve on the measures already in place. And whilst we are working to maintain the highest level of hygiene and safety in the communal areas, we do ask that each of our tenants do their best to maintain safety standards within their office environment.  

With our conscious and consistent effort combined, I do believe that Eagle Tower is significantly safer than other public spaces given a green light by the government and we are sure we can ride out the remainder of this pandemic, safely, together.
