How our technology is keeping you safe and connected

We are excited to share that we have invested in new technology to help keep everyone at Eagle Tower safe and connected. Not only have we upgraded our internet services, but we are also introducing some new safety measures to ensure the health and wellbeing of everyone who walks through our doors.


As we usher in a new year, it seemed like a good time to make some positive changes. Whether you join us as a resident or a visitor, here are some of the services that you can now expect at Eagle Tower:


Temperature screening


These days we are all familiar with having our temperatures checked regularly, with a high temperature considered a main symptom of COVID-19. However, we appreciate that manually checking each employee and customer who walks through your doors can be time consuming.


That’s why we have recently fitted Temperature Screening Thermographic Cameras, for quick and easy detection of skin surface temperatures. The cameras allow for unobtrusive, non-contact screening, with accuracy of up to ±0.3°C. This means that in addition to your organisation’s procedures, we can offer you a further layer of protection.


Our security team will be able to view thermal imaging CCTV. If a high temperature is detected, we will notify you immediately so that you can take the suitable next steps.


Touch-free building access


Access to Eagle Tower is now touch-free, with new entrance doors in place.


For the most part, touching door handles is unavoidable. The average door of an office building will be used hundreds, if not thousands, of times per day. With this in mind, our building entrance seemed like an obvious area that we could help minimise risk to you and your teams. Whilst we, of course, still advocate regular hand washing, our entrance doors are now one less surface that you need to have contact with.


With touch-free building access and our rigorous cleaning schedule, we are striving to ensure that Eagle Tower remains a COVID-secure workplace.


Electric car charging points


There are now over 380,000 electric vehicles in the UK. With no tailpipe, electric cars produce zero CO2 emissions when driven, helping you to reduce your carbon footprint. 


As we endeavour to create a cleaner and greener environment, we are pleased to say we have installed our first electric car charging points. They are currently available to our tenants with dedicated spaces in our secure car park. Since the sales ban of petrol and diesel cars has been brought forward to 2030 in the UK, now seemed to be the perfect time to help our Eagle Tower residents make the transition to electric.


Internet services


Our internet services are now faster, more reliable, and more flexible than ever before.


We offer a bandwidth of up to 1Gbps, this is one of the fastest internet speeds available. And not only is it lightning-fast, but any bandwidth combination is possible, for example 100Mbps down/50Mbps up. This means that you don’t have to compromise your upload speeds for fast download speeds.


1Gbps means fast file transfers, smooth communication with remote workers, and uninterrupted video presentations to clients. In practical terms, it means you can download a 500MB video conference in roughly four seconds., or an HD-quality movie in less than one minute.


We know that blazing-fast internet is a key competitive advantage in today’s world. With uncontended circuits, you won’t be sharing your bandwidth with any other organisation. So, you can expect exceptional speeds with ultra-low latency.


We offer leased line services to any floor, suite, or office; plus both cabled and WiFi services, so you can choose the connection that is best suited to your business.


IT support


To help you run your business as efficiently and effectively as possible, we offer both remote and on-site IT support packages through our partner Nurved.


Many common, day-to-day issues can be resolved remotely, enabling us to address any problems quickly and with little disruption to your working day. However, on the rare occasion that you may experience a bigger issue, we almost always have Support Engineers onsite. This allows us to react swiftly, ensuring that your organisation is back up and running as soon as possible.


Also, if you are moving to Eagle Tower, our IT support team can plan, manage, and perform your IT relocation seamlessly. This means that you and your workforce can simply arrive at your new desks and carry on where you left off, taking advantage of our new and improved internet services straight away!
